New Urban Era's urban arts festival

Eclecticism was seen at all levels at  New Urban Era's urban arts festival on July 21st 2012 when N.U.E collaborated with Aerosol Planet to bring a feast of arts from graffiti, dance, skate & dance music ..

After months of planing we knew we were going to have a good day when we received a call from Aerosol planet at 9am asking if we can bring more painting space as all the 5 tunnels were full and the graffiti artists had come out in force including legends such as TITLE , MONO, KEM MEF , HUSH , RIOT68 &RASCAL to name a few .....
so we packed the PA and left for site to see nearly 70 painters prepping there spots ready for a days paint .

By 11 am we had the first sound system fired up and the hip hop was flowing shortly followed by Bushwaker sounds and there monster sub cab taking care of the drum and bass both igniting the atmosphere and kick starting the festival mood .

We still had more to come with Dub skate shop turning the volume up at the skate park and the skate jam was in full swing by 1pm

With a massive turnout Dub entertained the skaters and on lookers with staydale and  CHONKYBEATZ  beat boxing and a host of DJ's playing chilled vibes across the park ..

Back at the tunnels PMYC under 12's performed there dance routines at the joy of the crowd enforcing n.u.e's ambition to make the event accessible to all age's with a family element .

3pm and it was time for the turntableism from dmc finalist Funkfreaker and Petch who were joined by Breaker Chris Brooke

Followed by the amazing STREET DYNAMIX showcasing there breath taking free running

WITH OVER 70 PAINTERS AND 30 DJ'S WE CLOSED THE FESTIVAL WITH THE VERY TALENTED STREET DANCE CREW NRG BEFORE WE ALL SOAKED UP THE AMAZING ART FROM THE DAY
